Bombay boy Hruday coming up with Konchem Coffee…	Date: 02/05/2012

Hruday, who was one of the twins in Maniratnam’s ‘Bombay’, is now the hero of a Tamil film ‘Konchem Coffee Konchem Kaadal’. This movie is also getting ready for release in Telugu. After ‘Bombay’, Hruday did films like ‘Ganesh’ and ‘Preminchukondam Ra’ as a child artist and later concentrated on his studies to pursue his engineering degree. Since he had passion for films he also did acting course in Mumbai. “Even though my first film is in Tamil, I wanted to do more films in Telugu. I like to do more of romantic entertainers. I’m a big fan of Chiranjeevi as I grew up watching his films like ‘Gang Leader’ and ‘Rowdy Alludu’.” On the other hand, Harsha, his twin brother in ‘Bombay’ film wished to pursue higher education, hence he choosed the education route.

Allu Arjun to attend Ee Rojullo audio function	Date: 02/05/2012

As mentioned a couple of days ago, the audio of ‘Ee Rojullo’ will be launched grandly on February 9th at Rock Gardens in Hyderabad and the interesting part is that Allu Arjun is chief guest of this function. M a new music director J.B. is making his debut through this film. Sarigama Audio Company is going to market the audio. Featuring Sri and Reshma as lead pair, ‘Ee Rojullo’ is getting ready for release in this month end. Good Cinema Group and Maruthi Media House banners are jointly producing this film by introducing Maruthi as the new director. According to director Maruthi, “Love is a different feeling and it happens with only one person in life time. However, the meaning for love in the today’s world has changed which we are going to portray it in an entertaining manner in our film. Music plays vital role.”

Yuganiki Oka Premikudu in editing	Date: 02/05/2012

‘Yuganiki Oka Premikudu’ starring Aakash and Swetha Basu Prasad as lead pair is the message oriented action entertainer being made on Sudha Movies banner. The film completed its shooting part and dubbing and presently in editing work. Besides playing the lead role, hero Aakash is also directing this film. He said, “This is a different film. Suman garu is playing a key role in this film. Right now the editing work is going on. We are crafting the film with wonderful musical scores provided by music director Karthik Raja. Heroine Swetha Basu Prasad gave excellent performance. Allu Aravind & Dil Raju to make a prestigious film	Date: 02/05/2012

Two mega producers Allu Aravind and Dil Raju have joined hands together to make a new mega film. This film will be directed by ‘Yagnam’ fame A S Ravikumar Chowdary and will be presented by Bunny Vasu, who recently delivered a super hit film ‘100% Love’ as producer. Director AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary prepared the script in such a manner that the film will all required commercial elements will attract not just the youth but all types of viewers. Vidya Balan looses to Kangana Raunat	Date: 02/04/2012

A wonderful chance of being part of the film ‘Shootout At Vafala’ has slipped away from Vidya Balan, who recently earned enormous accolauds and even the prestigious Filmfare award for her bold performance in the critically acclaimed role in ‘The Dirty Picture’. To be directed by Sanjay Gupta, this Anil Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi and Tushar Kapoor starrer is going to be produced by Ekta Kapoor who produced also ‘The Dirty Picture’. For the reasons unknown Ekta chose Vidya for this film initially but has changed her mind and replaced her with Kangana Raunat. This has been officially confirmed by the Tanuj Garg, the CEO of Balaji Motion Piuctures banner. ‘Shootout At Vadala’ is the sequel to 2007 ‘Shootout At Lokandhwala’.

Ilayaraja needs no introduction as everyone knows that he is the legendary musician who scored music for more than 950 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. The Maestro who recently came to Hyderabad for the audio launching function of Prakash Raj’s ‘Dhoni’ (for which he provided the musical scores) said that although he did less number of films in Telugu he gave quality music. According to him, he never scored music as per the directors’ demands, it’s they who prepare scripts to match his music standards. “No one created music, not even the sound. It’s just an art. I believe in my soul.”, he opined about music. About the background score he said, “I do re-recording as per the scenes shot in the film. It all depends on the director’s story and screenplay. I straight away reject if I don’t like the story.” As per him, he did ‘Dhoni’ only because he was impressed with the story of the film.

Manchu Lakshmi’s Gundello Godaari on 1986 floods backdrop	Date: 02/04/2012

Some time ago Manchu Lakshmi launched a bilingual film featuring herself, Aadi Pinisetty, Sundeep Kishan and Taapsee in lead roles. While the title in Telugu was fixed as ‘Gundello Godaari’, the Tamil version was not given any at the time of film launch. However the title for Tamil version has been confirmed now as ‘Maranthen Mannithen’. Kumar Nagendra is wielding this mega phone with music by Ilayaraja. Right now the music sitting is still going on in Chennai. ‘Gundello Godaari’ is the love story based on the backdrop of 1986 floods. The major part of the shooting is being held in Godavari region.

Maniratnam’s film gets new title	Date: 02/04/2012

You all are aware that Maniratnam has been making efforts to shoot his new romantic flick through which he wanted to introduce actor Karthik’s son Gautham. He has even given the title as ‘Pookadai’ for that film. But the latest news is that the director has changed the title ‘Pookadai’ (Flower Market) to ‘Kadal’ (Sea). This movie features Samantha as leading lady opposite Gautham. Other interesting star cast is Arjun, Aravind Swamy and Lakshmi Manchu. Musical scores will be rendered by AR Rahman and the camera will be handled by Rajeev Menon. The film launch will take place by another week.

Sarigama Audio to market Ee Rojullo audio	Date: 02/04/2012

Good Cinema Group and Maruthi Media House banners are coming up with a youthful entertainer titled ‘Ee Rojullo’. Introducing Maruthi as director, producers known as Good Friends are making this movie. The audio of this film will be launched grandly on February 9th at Rock Gardens in Hyderabad amidst bigwigs from the film industry. The audio will be marketed by Sarigama Audio Company. The producers announced, “We are introducing a new music director named J.B. He scored the music on par with the range of top musicians. We are happy that our film’s audio will be released through Sarigama Audio Company. We wholeheartedly thank the Sarigama audio company for agreeing to market our audio. Thaman walks out of Rebel, Lawrence takes the chance	Date: 02/03/2012

SS Thaman who was the music director for Prabhas-Tamannah’s ‘Rebel’ that is being directed by Raghava Lawrence has now walked out of the project. He tweeted, “My best wishes to music director Raghava Lawrence Gaaru for REBEL I wish the entire te@m good luck And I thank Lawrence master for giving me KANCHANA which was a very big hit in both the languages:) but I am officially out of REBEL.” Through Thaman’s tweet it’s understood that the director himself is going to take the responsibility of the music department as well. Lawerence, who is the choreographer later tried his luck as an actor, director and producer and became successful. Now one should really appreciate him for taking chance in scoring the music as well.

Daruvu shooting on Yamalokam set	Date: 02/03/2012

Ravi Teja-Taapsee’s latest flick ‘Daruvu’ is presently progressing at Ramoji Film City. This is a socio-fantasy flick in which Tamil actor Prabhu is playing the role of Yama. Director Siva is currently shooting the scenes involving Ravi Teja and Prabhu on a specially designed Yamalokam set at Ramoji Film City. Bhrugupalli Siva Ramakrishna is producing it with music by Vijay Anthony. Veteran actor Kaikala Satyanarayana, who generally reminds us of Yamadharma Raju is also playing an important role in this film.
